About

Stephen J. Jacobs, MD

Dr. Jacobs is an orthopedic surgeon with thirty-seven years of clinical practice. Alongside that practice he has spent thirty-five years in medicolegal work, reviewing files and examining claimants at the request of both plaintiff and defense counsel in personal injury matters.

Following his retirement from active surgical practice in December, 2026, his work is devoted exclusively to case review, imaging analysis, written opinions, attorney conferences and live remote trial appearances by video conference. Reviews are accepted for plaintiffs and defense, and opinions are given as the record supports them.

Services are provided through Jacobs Orthopedic Case Reviews, a division of Stephen Jacobs MD, PA, established over thirty-five years ago.
